Assumption Academy’s goal is to provide academic excellence and to instill the values of the Catholic community.
CURRICULUM
At Assumption Academy the Frog Street curriculum is followed in the Toddler and all pre-k classrooms. You can find more information about Frog Street here: frogstreet.com.
The Kindergarten uses the Benchmark Curriculum for phonics/reading and the Sadlier Curriculum for Math
All ages are engaged in lessons that meet PA and NAEYC standards.
MISSION STATEMENT
With the love of Jesus Christ to guide us and under the mantle of Mary, our Mother, the staff and parents of Assumption Academy endeavor to foster the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and social development of each child entrusted to our care. We share in the mission of the parish of Our Lady of the Assumption Church by providing religious formation and instruction in the Roman Catholic faith while welcoming everyone and respecting the faith traditions of all our students.
CARES PROGRAM
Assumption Academy offers an extended CARES program. CARES begins with Morning CARES from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and after care from 3:00PM – 6:00PM.
CARES is offered to children in our 3 year old programs, 4 year old programs and Kindergarten. All staffed by the school faculty
DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP
Parents are welcome to park in the school/church parking lot and walk into the school to drop-off or pick-up their children. For those who need it, a convenient Car Line system is in place for both drop-off and pick-up. Simply drive up to the front of the building and a staff member will walk your child into school.
